Teo, a provider of a vast array of VoIP solutions including Unified Communications (News - Alert), E911 and secure TSG-6 offerings, has just debuted Teo UC 4, its innovative unified communications (UC) platform.

Boasting over 200 capabilities and significant features that can be easily leveraged by end-users and administrators alike, the company continues to prove that it offers an extremely powerful and unified UC solution.

"Unlike other UC companies who are encumbered by their legacy technology and complex infrastructures, Teo is extremely nimble, allowing us to innovate quickly based on customer demand," said Thomas Beck, director of business development and marketing for Teo, in a statement. "The upgrades included in Teo 4 were designed to further take the complexity out of UC and provide the industry's only truly unified communications solution -- from both an end user and administrator perspective."

Built from the ground up, Teo UC can be utilized by multiple devices and can be seamlessly integrated with current technology infrastructures to allow users to increase productivity no matter where they are in the world.

Some of the brand new aspects of the UC platform for end-users include: Teo Softphone Updates, which enable users to use all UC tools within the Teo Softphone in conjunction with the Teo User Portal; Call Swipe, which transfers calls from device to device without any affect to the quality of the audio; and Schedule-based Auto Attendants, which assists users in selecting different Auto Attendant settings based on time of day, day of the week, etc.

On the other hand on the administrator side, the platform offers an Improved Dial Plan Manager which is much easier to use and Mass-Provisioning Capabilities which dramatically cut down the time it takes administrators to set up provisions for a large amount of users and devices.

"Teo UC 4 provides us with a robust UC solution that is extremely easy to use and intuitive," Deanne Butler, director of accounting at QVD Aquaculture, a company that is an expert in delivering seafood as well as a valued Teo customer, added. "Increased integration between the user portal and our Teo Softphones, as well as the Call Swipe feature, gives us a level of mobility that we would never be able to achieve without Teo. All of that, combined with the company's streamlined licensing model and superior service and support, makes us confident in Teo as our long-term communications provider."

Combining a wide array of features such as email, voicemail, voice-conferencing, desk phones, mobile phones, soft phones, IM, fax, E911 notification and call recording into a single platform, Teo UC 4, the updated version of Teo UC takes the complexity out of utilizing VoIP solutions—allowing any business to see almost instantaneous success.
